Precautionary Drinking Water Advisories (PDWA) and Emergency Boil Water Orders (EBWO) Currently in Effect for Ministry of Environment Regulated Waterworks

Precautionary Drinking Water Advisories (PDWA) and Emergency Boil Water Orders (EBWO) Currently in Effect for Health Region Regulated Waterworks

EBWOs are issued by the Regional Health Authority when a confirmed threat to public health exists (i.e. microbial contamination). PDWAs may be issued by Saskatchewan Environment when drinking water quality problems may exist although an immediate public health threat has not been identified. Health Canada explains What is a boil water advisory and a boil water order?

NOTICE: Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment (Environment) makes every effort to post and remove listings of PDWA and EBWO in a timely manner. From time to time, circumstances may arise that prevent timely revisions to this website. If consumers require additional information regarding application of a PDWA or EBWO, they are advised to contact their water supplier, Environment or local Health Region as applicable and as outlined on the site-specific PDWA or EBWO (see link below). If questions arise after hours regarding a PDWA or EBWO at a Ministry of Environment regulated waterworks an Environmental Project Officer may be reached by calling 1-800-667-7525.
